‘Dancers from Oblivion’ at Kasteel ‘t Nijenhuis / De Fundatie | Jan 11, 2022

Proud to announce that 3 of the large bronzes from the series ‘ Dancers from Oblivion’ have found their way to the beautiful sculpture garden of Kasteel ‘t Nijenhuis, which is a depandance of Museum de Fundatie. The works were placed in a beautiful open space that connects with the more wild landscaping of the estate.

Last week was the installation day. The 3 works arived with a large truck that barely was able to enter the gates. But thanks to the skilled installers from the transport company SAAN. the works arived safely and where placed amongst the national and international heroes known to the world of sculpture.

In the sculpture garden in the grounds of Kasteel het Nijenhuis more than 90 sculptures from the collections of Museum de Fundatie, Museum Beelden aan Zee in Scheveningen and the Province of Overijssel are exhibited on 4.5 hectares of ornamental gardens, lawns and woodland.

With over 90 sculptures, this garden is one of the largest and most unique sculpture gardens of the Netherlands.
